Popular Yoruba actor, Sisi Quadri, has passed away, leaving the Nollywood industry in a period of mourning.
Per @femiakinyemi_official, the comic Nollywood actor Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, passed away in the early hours of March 1, 2024, at the age of 47.
Reportedly, Sisi Quadri was transferred from an undisclosed private hospital in Iwo town, Osun state, where he was suffering from renal failure, to the Accident and Emergency unit of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital (LAUTECH) in Ogbomoso.
There, he was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. Despite receiving intensive care, he was pronounced dead shortly before being taken for Dialysis. His body has since been received by his family members for burial preparations.
The time of burial will be announced by his family .
The sad news was made known by his colleague, Tunde Olayusuf, who via his Instagram page, shared a photo of him as he announced the sad news. He noted how everything in the world is according to the will of Allah and as we come from Him, so shall we return to Him. He prayed for God to rest his soul.
