According to online reports, Funke initiated the move after Faithia skipped her movie premiere but attended Mercy Aigbe’s event. Faithia’s absence was allegedly a retaliation for Funke not attending her father’s burial, despite being invited.
Addressing the issue on her TikTok page, Faithia called out Funke, stating that she isn’t her God. She dismissed Funke’s actions as petty and made it clear that she wasn’t affected, taking several swipes at her in the process.
Their fallout has come as a surprise, especially since Faithia strongly supported Funke last year by promoting her movie, A Tribe Called Judah. Faithia went the extra mile, creating several pieces of content to boost the film’s publicity.
