Small-sized actress Aunty Ramota, renowned for her humorous performances, has disclosed that her alleged pregnancy is a result of her relationship with skit creator Ijoba Lande, often referred to as her on-screen “husband.”
Speculations about her pregnancy emerged last week, leaving many uncertain about its authenticity.
In a recent interview shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, Aunty Ramota confirmed the pregnancy and named Ijoba Lande as the father.
Addressing the rumour, Lande, who was part of the interview said, “You people are funny. Is it so hard to believe? Someone said she is pregnant, what is there to drag?
“Pregnancy is not something that can be hidden. If someone tells you she is three months pregnant, you just count the rest of the months and see.”
When asked to confirm his role, Lande stated that Aunty Ramota should answer the question herself.
“Every woman knows who is responsible for her pregnancy,” he added.
Aunty Ramota, however, left no room for doubt. “Yes, I am pregnant. Lande is responsible for my pregnancy,” she said.
When pressed further, Lande admitted to being the father and asked why it was shocking.

“Doesn’t she have a reproductive system? The same way we bought wedding clothes and people doubted, if one gets married, isn’t it expected to give birth?”
