“Whenever I Am At Home And I See My Twins Climbing On Me, I Feel Happy And Blessed” – Adeniyi Johnson Reveal

Actor Adeniyi Johnson has opened up about his emotional and challenging journey to parenthood, which spanned over a decade and demanded immense prayer and perseverance, as reported by The Nation Nigeria.

In an interview with Kunle Afod, Johnson reflected on the obstacles he faced in two marriages, highlighting the strength and faith that sustained him during those difficult years.

He revealed that his first marriage lasted three years without a child before it ended. In 2018, he married fellow actor Oluwaseyi Edun, and the couple embarked on another phase of waiting that stretched for seven years. Despite the hardships, they remained unwavering in their hope and belief that they would one day be blessed with children.

Their faith was rewarded in February 2023 when they welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl. Reflecting on the experience, Johnson said, “The vigil was much. But we thank God that what one has been crying over, God turned into joy. It is a cry of 10 years. Myself and the mother of the twins sought God’s face for seven years, and when it came, God said He wanted to gift me with twins.”

Johnson expressed profound gratitude for the arrival of his children, describing the joy they bring to his life. “Whenever I am at home and see them climbing on top of me, I am always very happy. I say thank you, God,” he said. The actor also noted the challenges of raising twins, such as the double cost of diapers and food, but emphasized that he is grateful for God’s provision.

He praised his wife, Oluwaseyi Edun, for her unwavering support throughout their journey. Together, they embraced the challenges of waiting, supporting each other through moments of doubt and hope. The arrival of their twins has strengthened their bond, and Johnson shared that the experience has deepened his appreciation for family and faith.

The actor’s story serves as a testament to perseverance, faith, and the power of hope. Johnson’s journey is a reminder that, even in the face of prolonged challenges, the rewards of patience can be life-changing.

He said: Whenever I am at home, and I see them climbing on top of me, I am always very happy. I would say thank you, God. Other people buy diapers for one child for us we buy two. We bless God for provision. They also eat well.
