Yoruba film actor Emmanuel Austine recently revealed one of the reasons he stopped acting in Yoruba movies. In a video uploaded to Debbie Show TV’s official YouTube channel, he shared his struggles in the industry.
During the interview, Austine explained that he faced numerous challenges that nearly cost him his life, leading to his decision to step away from Yoruba films. He also claimed that certain actors played a role in his downfall within the industry.
Additionally, he recounted a personal ordeal involving his wife. He disclosed that he caught her cheating with another man, and when he confronted her, she swore on the Bible to make him seem like a liar.
In his statement, he said, “There are some actors that I wouldn’t accept their requests if they invite me to feature in their movies. I stopped acting in movies when some actors worked for my downfall, and I would have been dead. Some of those actors were not happy because I have produced a lot of movies in my filmmaking career, and I have been involved in almost all categories of movies.”
In other news Fuji musician Rasheed Ajigijaga, the first son of renowned Yoruba Nollywood actor Ajigijaga, opened up about his relationship with his late father and the events leading to his passing in an interview with Oyinmomo.
Rasheed shared the heartbreaking story of how his father took his last breath in his arms. Recalling the painful experience, he revealed that his father passed away on July 31, 2015, at approximately 11:10 AM.
According to Rasheed, he was in Abule-Egba when he received a distressing call from his father’s wife, informing him that his father was behaving strangely. Alarmed, he rushed to his father’s residence to check on him.
