Yoruba Nollywood actor and producer Afeez Owo has opened up about the circumstances that led to his marriage to fellow actress Mide Martins.
In a candid interview on Kunle Afod’s official YouTube channel, Owo revealed that when Mide’s mother, the late actress Funmi Martins, passed away, neither of them initially had any romantic intentions toward each other.
Reflecting on their early friendship, he shared, “When her mother died, I didn’t plan to marry Mide, and she didn’t intend to date me either. We were just very close and shared many things, including our ideas.”

“As God would have it, the person I was dating at that time broke up with me in her presence. All that time, there were already rumors that we were dating. But later, after some time, God eventually brought us together, and we got married,” he explained.
