Veteran Nollywood actor Owooniran Rasak Ajania, popularly known as Wazo, has continued to express his gratitude toward actress Funke Akindele for her kindness and support.
In a recent interview with Kola Olotu, Wazo shared how Funke Akindele stood by him during a challenging period in his life.
He recounted, “There was a time I told Funke that I wanted to go and work, but she insisted that I shouldn’t. This went on for about three months. When she traveled to America, I called her, and she mentioned that someone informed her I was planning to leave her house. I confirmed it, but she told me not to. I also mentioned that the generator at home wasn’t working, and immediately, she instructed her staff to buy a new one and replace it.”
Wazo further revealed that Funke Akindele gave him the highest amount of money he had ever received as an actor.
He also spoke about the challenges of acting while fasting during Ramadan, highlighting how difficult it was for Muslim actors.
His heartfelt words about Funke Akindele’s generosity and kindness have sparked reactions from netizens, with many praising the actress for her good deeds.
