Veteran Nollywood actress Ayo Mogaji has revealed that she was sidelined by certain producers and actors after criticizing the revealing outfits worn by some actresses.
In an interview on Seun Oloketuyi’s official YouTube channel, Mogaji shared that her outspokenness about the trend of actresses exposing their bodies led to a decline in movie roles from her colleagues in the industry.
When asked to compare her own generation to the present generation of actors, she said, “I’m a very objective person, and when I speak, some people will say I talk too much. My own generation doesn’t sell their bodies to men, and we don’t draw tattoos on our chests.
We didn’t wear short dresses to show off our legs because we had values and morals, and we were trying to teach our viewers moral values. I didn’t get movie roles when I complained about some actresses exposing their bodies.”
