Former Manchester United and French footballer Patrice Evra has sparked widespread reactions online with a new video showcasing his love for Nigerian music.
In the video, shared on his official Instagram page on March 17, 2025, Evra proves himself to be a big fan of Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
The clip captures Evra vibing to Davido’s newly released song, Be There Still, which is currently the number-one track on Apple Music Naija.
This marks the third song Davido has released from his highly anticipated album, 5ive. Prior to this, he dropped Awuke and Fund, which features rapper Odumodublvck.
Overwhelmed by the song’s infectious vibe, an overexcited Patrice Evra couldn’t contain his joy, repeatedly shouting, “Davido! Davido! Davido!”—and that was just the beginning.
At one point, Evra’s excitement took over as he began jumping with so much energy that it seemed like he might put himself at risk if he miscalculated his landing.
Sharing the video, Evra wrote; “Brother @davido please stop dropping banger 🔥 we nearly lost mister #ilovethisgame 😤😅.”
