The nominations recognize outstanding works in film, television, and digital content released between January 1 and December 31, 2024. Eniola Ajao’s 2024 film, Beast of Two Worlds, earned a nomination for Best Sound/Sound Design, competing alongside Lisabi by Lateef Adedimeji, Seven Doors by Femi Adebayo, and others.

In an Instagram story, Eniola Ajao shared her excitement, calling the nomination a significant milestone for her. She expressed joy that her work is gaining recognition and hinted at even bigger things ahead. The actress, who is currently teasing her second cinema movie, emphasized that this is just the beginning of her journey.

“AMVCA nomination for Beast of Two Worlds is a big deal to me!!

I’m happy my work got recognition. This is just the beginning”.

Earlier this year, Eniola Ajao made a surprising declaration, announcing that she was ready to deliver for her fans and supporters in 2025. The single mother revealed that she has been working on a project set for release around Easter.

Last year was challenging for the actress, as her debut cinema movie faced significant controversy. She sparked backlash after naming Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky as the Best Dressed Female at her movie premiere, a decision that stirred heated reactions.
