Olori Ashley Folashade, one of the wives of Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, has shared a heartwarming video documenting her pregnancy journey up until the birth of her child.
In the beautifully crafted video, Olori Ashley takes her social media followers through the stages of her pregnancy, showing how her baby bump grew until she finally held her newborn in her arms, shedding tears of joy.
In the video’s caption, she confidently explained why she refers to her son as the crown prince of Ife, providing insight into her bold claims.
The highly revered monarch, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, recently announced the birth of his child with Olori Ashley Folashade on social media.
In a post shared by the queen, she declared her son as the crown prince of the Ife Kingdom. She explained that her son is a prince from both his parents’ royal lineages.
Olori Ashley detailed that her son hails from her side of Ooni Adagba’s royal compound of the Lafogido ruling house, and from his father’s side of Ooni Agbedegbede’s royal compound of the Giesi ruling house.
She emphasized that these two houses unite to form the royal throne of Oduduwa in Ile-Ife.
Her assertion that her son is the crown prince comes despite the Ooni of Ife and his other wife, Olori Tobi, welcoming a set of twins before Olori Ashley gave birth.
Ooni and his estranged wife, Olori Naomi also have a son, Tadenikawo together.
In the post, Olori Ashley also shared her pregnancy journey, detailing the advancement of her baby bump till she put to bed.
She appreciated her husband for standing by her throughout the journey.
She also thanked her personal assistant and big sister, who kept her social media handle busy throughout the nine-month to kill curiosity of fans. She wrote in part:

To my ever loving supportive husband who has stood by me throughout this journey, in every step of the way, from start to finish with daily prayers @ooniadimulaife you are my world, my CROWN JEWEL, Erujeje Adimula Oko Mi, Ikoyi Esho Mi.”
