Toyosi revealed the struggles she faced with her unfaithful husband and the hardships she had to overcome.
In a heartfelt moment, she also expressed her gratitude to fellow actress Fathia Balogun, who stood by her during those difficult times.
In 2007, Toyosi Adesanya revealed how she endured a series of bizarre miscarriages, including one terrifying experience where she woke up drenched in blood after dreaming of herself covered in it.
She shared that her senior colleague, Fathia Balogun, who was aware of her heartbreaking ordeal, advised her to seek spiritual intervention.
Fathia took her to a traditional healer who prescribed fertility herbs. Toyosi initially believed the herbs had worked when she became pregnant again, but her hopes were shattered when she suffered yet another miscarriage.
Determined to find answers, Toyosi underwent numerous medical tests, but doctors were unable to identify the cause of her recurring losses. In her desperate journey to become a mother, she turned to IVF multiple times, but, unfortunately, those attempts also ended in failure.
Her most devastating experience came when she carried a pregnancy to full term, only to tragically lose the baby moments after birth.
In the midst of her unbearable grief, Toyosi Adesanya’s world was further shattered when she discovered that her husband had impregnated another woman during this painful period.
The actress admitted that the betrayal nearly broke her, but supportive friends encouraged her to prioritize her health, warning her about the dangers of high blood pressure and urging her not to let the turmoil of her marriage destroy her well-being.
