Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing marked the third anniversary of her late mother, Gloria Sunday, with a heartfelt tribute.
According to a report by Famous9ja on Monday, the actress commemorated her mother’s memory by feeding the underprivileged. In an emotional letter to her late mother, Nkechi admitted how difficult it has been to live without her for the past three years. She promised to always keep her mother’s memory alive, just as she had never allowed her mother to suffer or feel stressed while she was still with her.
In a follow-up post, Nkechi vowed to make her mother proud, expressing gratitude for the life lessons that shaped her into the strong woman she is today. She ended the tribute by expressing her enduring love for her late mother.
She wrote; “Dear mother, I will continue to make you proud. Thank you for all your teachings, thank you for making me the strong woman that I am today, love you forever till we meet to part no more. Gloria lives on”.
Recall that Nkechi Blessing’s mother died barely five days before her birthday in September, 2021. Announcing her mother’s death, Nkechi recounted how she had been working day and night to ensure her mother did not beg for food. She said if doctors had requested money to keep her mother, she would have begged the world to help her.
In September 2022, Nkechi marked her mother’s first remembrance. The actress went to the streets and gave out food and water. Just days after the remembrance, Nkechi celebrated her mother’s posthumous birthday in a controversial style. She held a little party to host a few friends, where she shared a dildo as a souvenir.
