A new video circulating on social media reportedly shows former world footballer of the year and Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo revealing that he used to give his mother $50,000, approximately N81 million, every month.
This news comes shortly after Cristiano Ronaldo won the admiration of Nigerians by vibing to singer Asake’s hit song “Active,” featuring American rapper Travis Scott.
In the video, Ronaldo shared that he ensures his mother receives N81 million each month to support her lifestyle, emphasizing that she sacrificed everything for him to pursue his football career.
Reflecting on how his mother inspired him, Cristiano Ronaldo shared that during his childhood, his family was very poor. He recalled how his mother worked multiple jobs just to afford clothes and shoes for him so he could play football.
Ronaldo emphasized that his mother sacrificed everything to allow him to pursue his dream of becoming a professional footballer.
In his words; “I send my mother $5OK every month, to support her lifestyle. but that is just a small part of the story, when I was young, we were really poor, so my mother worked multiple jobs, just to buy me clothes and shoes, so I could play football. She sacrificed everything, so I could chase my dreams and become a football player…”
Cristiano Ronaldo said that his lovely mother now lives with him and his family in their luxurious mansion worth $6million. She concluded that she drives a luxurious car and enjoys her life because she deserves it. He added that his mother is the real reason he became the best football player in the world today.
“Now she lives with us in our $6m dollar mansion, drives a lot of luxury cars, and enjoys her lives because she deserves it. my mother is the real reason I became the best football player in the world, cause without her, none of this would be possible.”
