“Stop letting pride come between you and Pasuma, beg him publicly” – KWAM 1 calls out Taye Currency at recent event (VIDEO)

Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal 1, popularly known as Kwam 1 or K1 De Ultimate, has stepped into the growing controversy involving his junior colleague, Taye Akande Adebisi, also known as Taye Currency, following what many view as a blatant display of disrespect towards the highly revered veteran, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma.

The entertainment world is buzzing as K1 De Ultimate officially weighs in on the ongoing rift between Pasuma and his younger counterpart, Taye Currency.

What began as a subtle jab from Taye Currency towards his mentor, Pasuma, has now escalated into an unexpected public spectacle.

Both fan bases were stunned by Taye Currency’s subtle yet cutting remarks, which struck a nerve with Pasuma.

The controversy exploded when Taye, during a stage performance, boldly stated that despite their long-standing mentor-mentee relationship, Pasuma could not be regarded as his “father” in the Fuji music industry.

His words were deliberate and sharp, intended to make a clear distinction. While Taye had previously praised Pasuma, this time he emphasized that although Pasuma was his elder brother, he did not consider him significant enough in the Fuji hierarchy to be viewed as a father figure in his life or career.

This bold challenge didn’t sit well with the Fuji community, especially Pasuma. Known for his humility and respected position in the industry, Pasuma was quick to respond, delivering a sharp rebuttal to Taye’s initial jab.

Amid the escalating tension, K1 De Ultimate, one of the undisputed godfathers of Fuji, decided to step in. Refusing to remain on the sidelines while the Fuji family was in turmoil, Kwam 1 addressed the feud directly during a live performance.

His words carried the weight of his decades-long legacy and the authority that comes with being a Fuji legend.

Turning first to Taye Currency, Kwam 1’s rebuke was sharp and direct. He urged Taye to set aside his ego, reminding him that no matter how far he has come or how influential he may be, respect for those who paved the way is non-negotiable.

Through his impassioned performance, Kwam 1 emphasized that Pasuma would always be a father figure, not just due to seniority in the industry but because of the vital role he played in Taye’s own rise to fame.

In a powerful shift, Kwam 1 then addressed Pasuma. In a now-viral video, he offered wise counsel, advising Pasuma to rise above the offense and take Taye’s words in stride.

He reminded Pasuma that as a veteran and revered elder in the Fuji world, he must learn to endure the criticisms of younger artists without allowing them to harm his spirit.
