“Abeg! Who dey listen to his one-style music?” – Portable shade Seyi Vibez as his song hit 2 billion streams

There’s brewing tension in the hip-hop scene as Portable Omolalomi, a street rapper, confronts fellow artist Seyi Vibez following claims of hitting two billion global streams.

The conflict erupted shortly after Seyi Vibez showcased his accolade on Instagram, celebrating the milestone of reaching billions of streams worldwide.

Portable fired back, challenging the authenticity of Seyi Vibez’s stream numbers, suggesting that his music style is local and unlikely to have amassed such high streaming figures.

He went on to highlight Seyi Vibez’s alleged struggles to draw crowds at his European shows despite claiming a massive two billion global streams. The Zazuu crooner expanded on his stance, questioning the legitimacy of Seyi Vibez’s recognition as the Best Street-Hop Artiste at the Headies, referencing purported disqualification due to alleged threats against the award organizers.

Are you whining? You’re lying to your career? You go Europe dem no fit mime your song; you go London you no fit collect ten shows. Your song con enter billion, who con dey listen to your song? You that is yet to be recognized internationally; with your one style of music. Even those that gave you award, Headies regretted,” he said in part.
