Femi Adebayo defends Tonto Dikeh against backlash over her review of his new movie

Just days back, Femi Adebayo had defended his English colleague, Tonto Dikeh against criticisms from fans after she did a review of his movie.

The movie star, who was in the news last week for calling out NDLEA, shared her thoughts on the movie, Jagun Jagun.

Tonto revealed that it was her first time watching a Nigerian movie in over 10/12 years, and she was shaken and left in awe after watching the movie.

Tonto emphasized that she doesn’t know any of the cast and crew of the movie personally and only watched it because it was recommended by her international friends.

Her statement of ‘not watching Nigerian movies and not knowing the cast of Jagun Jagun’ left many slamming the movie star.

Taking to her comment section, Femi Adebayo appreciated her for the review and urged critics to tone down their volume.

Defending her, he stated that Tonto was only implying that she didn’t have any close relationship with them, hence, wasn’t been sentimental in her judgment of his movie.
