Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, popularly known as Ashabi, shared a romantic video of herself and her singer husband, Portable, on Instagram to celebrate his release from police custody. In the video, Portable is seen resting on her chest in a tender moment.
Ashabi mentioned that the video had been saved in her drafts and she hadn’t anticipated that he would change his appearance so soon. She also thanked God for his release.

Famous9ja reported on Monday that the Kwara State police had arrested Portable over alleged criminal defamation against Fuji singer Saheed Osupa. He was accused of threat to life, incitement, character assassination, criminal defamation and conduct likely to cause a breach of peace and the use of abusive and insulting words.
The singer was remanded in a correctional facility after failing to meet bail conditions of N1 million and two sureties, one of whom must be the Chairman of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN).
On Tuesday, Saheed Osupa had a change of heart as he withdrew his case against Portable. In a press statement, he clarified the reason for arresting the singer and revealed that he listened to heartfelt pleas from several prominent Nigerians whose names he mentioned. However, Saheed’s team gave Portable 3 conditions for his withdrawal.
