Osimhen’s remarkable hat-trick during the Super Eagles’ commanding 6-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe elevated his total to 10 goals in six games, a tally that’s twice the number of goals scored by Patson Daka of Zambia, Louis Mafouta of the Central African Republic, Sadio Mane, and Tunisia’s Yasine Mskani.
Osimhen’s goals played a pivotal role in securing the Super Eagles’ top spot in Group A, accumulating a total of 15 points.
