A viral video showcasing a man displaying the array of gifts presented to a bride by her family on her traditional wedding day has sparked reactions across social media platforms.
The shared video features numerous lavish gifts, including a couch, dining table and chairs, gas, mattress, sets of pots, and various other items.
While documenting the assortment of items, the man mentioned that it is a customary practice in the Umuezukwu community, located in Onicha Igboeze, Ebonyi State, to bestow these gifts upon the bride.
According to tradition, these gifts symbolize support for the bride as she embarks on her journey into marriage and begins to build her own family. XL
