The elite of the entertainment industry converged as Nollywood actress and film producer Funke Akindele unveiled her much-anticipated movie, “A Tr!be Called Judah.”
This signifies the second major movie premiere hosted by the esteemed movie star this year.
A few months ago, she debuted her drama series, “She Must Be Obeyed,” at Film House Cinema, IMAX, drawing numerous celebrities. Notably, her counterpart, Toyin Abraham, graced the event, alongside her estranged husband, JJC Skillz.
This time, the mother of two organized an even grander premiere for her latest production. “A Tr!be called Judah” delves into the tale of a family of boys who opt to rob a small mall with their mother’s assistance. However, upon arrival, they encounter armed robbers.
Scheduled for its premiere on December 15, 2023, the film boasts a star-studded cast featuring Funke Akindele, Jide Kene Achufusi, Timini Egbuson, Uzee Usman, Tobi Makinde, and Olumide Oworu.
Also joining the cast are Ebelle Okaro, Uzor Arukwe, Nse Ikpe Etim, Genoveva Umeh, Faithia Williams, Nosa Rex, Greg Ojefua, Ibrahim Yekini, Boma Akpore, Paschaline Alex, Etinosa Idemudia, Juliana Olayode, and Yvonne Jegede.
As anticipated, luminaries spanning various entertainment sectors graced the filmmaker’s event. Celebrities such as Ini Edo, Phyna, Shaffy Bello, Adunni Ade, Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Faithia Williams, Ruth Kadiri, Juliana Olayode, Ali Baba, and Hilda Dokubo attended.
