Nollywood actress and producer Jaiye Kuti, also known as Jayeola Monje, has expressed her gratitude towards her senior colleague, Funke Akindele, for her vocal support.
Funke Akindele showed her endorsement of Jayeola’s latest film, Alagbede, by promoting it on her Instagram page. In her post, the box office queen invited her followers to join her for a viewing of the movie and congratulated Jayeola on its success at the box office.

At the moment, Funke Akindele is the African box office movie queen. In just 21 days after its release, her final project, A Tr!be Called Judah, smashed box office records when it made its theatrical debut in December 2023. It was the first Nollywood movie to make N1 billion as a result.
The film’s performance exceeded that of the actress’s earlier productions, Battle on Buka Street (N668.4m) and Omo Ghetto (N636.1m), which are presently the third and second highest-grossing movies in Nigerian theaters, respectively.
At the celebration, she was given a brand-new automobile as a reward for her ground-breaking accomplishment.
She dedicated the Silverbird Lifetime Achievement Award, which she won last month, to her family, friends, and admirers.
