Renowned Nollywood actress, Biodun Okeowo, has been honored with the Nollywood Actress of the Year 2023 award by the Yoruba Movie Gist Awards for her outstanding performance in lead roles within the Yoruba movie industry.
Acknowledged for her excellence among many others, she joyfully received the award on her daughter’s convocation day.
Omoborty took to her Instagram page to share the news of her win, expressing her delight and gratitude.

This honor surpasses my expectations. Not because I don’t see anything special in me, but because I have never viewed myself as a celebrity, let alone anything distinct. But for finding me worthy of being honored as Outstanding, I am humbled.
