Tajudeen Oyewole, a well-known veteran actor in the Yoruba film industry, was recently given a car as a gift by a car shipping company in Lagos. The actor, also known as Abija, was filled with immense joy and couldn’t hide his happiness, as he was seen smiling radiantly at the ceremony. To honor his remarkable accomplishments, he was presented with a brand new Toyota Matrix.
The car presentation event was attended by popular comic actors such as Jigan Babaoja, Mr Latin, Itele, and other prominent personalities from the Nollywood industry.
Abija, a pioneer in the indigenous Yoruba film genre, has recently been in the news due to his challenging living conditions.
Actor Jigan made a plea for assistance on behalf of the veteran actor, recognizing him as one of the trailblazers who paved the way for the current generation of successful actors in the industry.
Famous9ja recently highlighted how comedian Camo, through his initiative called “Let Appreciate Our Legend,” once again brought Abijah to the attention of the public on social media.
Abijah’s current condition is far from satisfactory.
