Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid,is making headlines once again for breaking another Guinness World Record.
Wizkid has achieved a historic milestone as one of his hit songs surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify, making it the first track to reach this landmark on the platform.
The song in question is the 2016 global hit One Dance by Canadian rapper and singer Drake, featuring Grammy Award-winning Wizkid and Kyla.
Announcing the development, Guinness via its official page on the popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter wrote;
“The first song to reach one billion streams on Spotify was One Dance by Drake, Wizkid and Kyla #OTD in 2016.”
