Congratulations pour in as Ooni of Ife welcomes twins with third wife Olori Tobi Philips

The esteemed Yoruba monarch and Ooni of Ife, Adewusi Adeyeye Enitan Ojaja II, joyously welcomed a set of twins with his third wife, Olori Tobi Philips.

The heartwarming announcement was made on Instagram by the Ooni himself, revealing that his family was blessed with both a boy and a girl.

Sharing the delightful news, the Yoruba monarch disclosed that Queen Tobi successfully gave birth to twins on Saturday, March 16, 2024, introducing them as a prince and a princess to their royal lineage.

The Ooni proceeded to provide an update on the health of the new mother and their newborns, assuring that they are all in good health.

In his words: “To God be the glory, great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Tobiloba, who today birthed a Prince and Princess to the Royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and children are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”

Recall that Queen Tobi, who is a former beauty queen, is the youngest wife of Ooni and they got married in October 2022.

The 33-year-old fashion entrepreneur is a graduate of Marine Science from the University of Lagos. A former beauty queen, in 2012, she was crowned the winner of the World Miss University Africa (WMUA) beauty pageant.

She is the owner of QTP Luxury Fashion, a fashion outfit. She is also a skilful 3D artist. Olori Tobi, a native of Okitipupa in Ondo State, worked for the Ooni for over six years.
