Nollywood actress and producer Olaniyan Janet Oluwatosin recently honored her late mother’s 11-year remembrance with a heartfelt tribute on social media.
The actress shared several throwback photos of her mother, expressing her wish for her to rest in peace.
Alongside the photo of her mother, Tosin Olaniyan’s elder brother, her mother’s first son, shared some touching words, recalling how his mother used to say he would miss her once she was gone. He expressed how much he misses her words and advice and how he has remained strong in her absence.
Tosin Olaniyan also shared her feelings, saying she misses her mother deeply, including the frequent calls just to hear her scold. She thanked her mother for guiding her in the ways of God and reminded her that, as she had promised, she did become an actor. Today, she is proud to be an actor, producer, and content creator, fulfilling her mother’s dreams.
In a heartfelt tribute, she wrote:
“You were called to glory exactly 11am 11 years ago
My sweet mother, you lived a good life and impacted positively to people you met in your journey. Continue to rest well till we meet again.
I will be giving out 5k each for 10 people to celebrate my mummy’s 11th year remembrance. Kindly drop your details then i will pick randomly.”
