Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has taken to social media to celebrate music executive Ubi Franklin, who recently earned a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Essex in the UK.
On April 10, 2025, Ubi Franklin shared a video from his graduation ceremony on his official Instagram page, joining fellow graduates in the celebratory moment.
Ubi Franklin is a prominent figure in the Nigerian entertainment industry, known for his work in talent management. He has managed top artists such as Iyanya, Tekno, Emma Nyra, Selebobo, and Baci. He is also the founder of the renowned record label, Made Men Music Group (MMMG), and is reportedly worth several billions of naira.
Ubi Franklin, whose real name is Ubi Ekapong Ofem, was born on February 2, 1986, in Cross River State, Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary education in Calabar before proceeding to Madonna University, where he studied Law.
He is a father of four, with each child from a different mother—two daughters, Zanetta and Ariella, and two sons, Jayden and Shiloh.
In recent years, Ubi Franklin has developed a close working relationship with Chioma, the wife of singer Davido. Reports indicate that he serves as her road manager, a role that has further strengthened his bond with Davido.
Ubi Franklin was seen celebrating his Bachelor of Law degree graduation alongside notable figures such as Pastor Tobi Adegboyega and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ojukwu Chikamsolu, among others.
