A resurfaced throwback post reveals Davido’s criticism of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie and her husband Prince Odi.
The revelation of his rift with the couple emerged in the comments section of Eniola Badmus‘ post, where she congratulated Mercy Johnson on the supposed arrival of her fourth child years ago.
In his comment, Davido alleged that the duo exhibited cruelty and harbored ‘evil’ tendencies.
“Wicked pple…. Congrats tho”, he wrote.
When a concerned fan asked the reason for such a spiteful comment, he replied; “Just evil set of People.”
It was gathered that Davido was sued to court by the couple for failing to grace the opening of the Okojie’s luxury hotel, Henod Luxury Hotels in Abulegba, Lagos.
After the 27-year-old musician announced on his IG page that he will be present at the grand launch failed but to show up.
However, the whole arrangement which appeared to have been sealed turned to a disappointment.
Davido who was on tour in America refused to show up and all efforts to speak to his management team proved abortive since they stopped taking calls.
