Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has shared valuable lessons she has learned a year after the passing of singer Mohbad.
In a post on her Instagram page, the actress cautioned against compromising one’s conscience for the sake of wealth, emphasizing that it isn’t worth the risk.
She expressed concern over how the love of money can cause division among family members, turning them against one another.
The thespian advised her followers not to make themselves sacrificial lamb for anyone irrespective of their relationship.
According to her, “It’s been 1 year since Mohbad transitioned and a lot has happened, still happening.
“Few lessons learnt, the risk of getting your conscience dirty for wealth is not worth it in the end.
“The love for money and fear of supreme influence will turn even your blood and loved ones against you. Human survival instincts are not respecter of love, loyalty, blood or friendship.
“Poverty will forever be tool in the hands of the wealthy. Try not to put yourself forward as the sacrificial lamb for anyone (I’m doing this for my family or siblings and parents) because your sacrifice will be robbed in the mud.”
