Mama J, a Nigerian woman, sparked controversy online after criticizing wives who retaliate against unfaithful husbands by being unfaithful themselves.
In a viral video, Mama J, who appeared to be a relationship consultant, argued that such women are inexperienced adulterers and lack the wisdom needed to maintain their homes.
She emphasized that a good wife acts as her husband’s “mother,” meaning it is her responsibility to correct his behavior when he cheats, rather than lowering herself to his immoral actions.
She went ahead to reveal that wives are responsible for their husbands’ upbringings.
In her words, “You don’t have wisdom. You married that man to be his helper. Even if he is a cheater, you need to help him in that area. You are responsible for his upbringing too. Don’t you know you are his mother?”
