Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has cried out to Nigerians after being stopped by a local government task force officer at Mobalufon in Odogbolu Local Government, Ijebu Ode, for a traffic violation.
Sharing her experience on her verified social media handle, the actress recounted how the incident unfolded.
According to Allwell Ademola, the officer stopped her in Odogbolu and informed her that she had violated a traffic rule. When she inquired about the reason, she was told that she had made a U-turn at a location where a “No U-Turn” sign was posted.
Allwell Ademola stated that there was no “No U-Turn” sign at the location where she passed. She asked the officer if they could take her to the spot to confirm, as she is not based in Ijebu Ode.
However, the officer refused and insisted that she must follow them to their office. Ademola further revealed that the task force had seized her car key and was refusing to let her go, demanding ₦15,000 before releasing her.
