“Everything Have Seen So Far Liam Is Not My Grandson, Doesn’t Resemble My Son” – Mohbad’s Father Reveal

The late Nigerian musician Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, has once again raised doubts about the paternity of Liam, the child his late son had with Omowunmi.

In a recent interview with Silverbird Television, Aloba stressed the need for a DNA test to confirm whether Liam is truly his grandchild.

Mohbad, whose untimely death on September 12, 2023, sparked national mourning and widespread speculation, left behind his wife, Omowunmi, and their son, Liam.

Amid ongoing investigations into the singer’s death, Aloba has voiced concerns over Liam’s resemblance to Mohbad. When questioned during the interview about whether Liam looks like his late son, Aloba shared his perspective.

“No, with what I am seeing, he’s not my grandson. As a father, they are supposed to bring the child to me. When I demand DNA, they were supposed to say ‘Daddy go and do it at your convenient time.’ It has become public now. Let the court speak to that.”

Aloba emphasized that he would only accept Liam as his grandson if the DNA test confirmed the biological connection.

Mohbad’s death remains a highly sensitive issue, with ongoing investigations and autopsy reports yet to bring closure to the case. Many social media users have since been enraged with Wunmi’s alleged delay to get the DNA test done.
