Funke Akindele has etched her name in history as her movie “A Tribe Called Judah” emerges as the highest-grossing Nollywood film, amassing 854 million views in cinemas according to the Nigerian box office.
The talented actress shared this exciting news today, January 2nd, 2023, via her verified Instagram page, reaching out to her 16.2 million followers.
Recall that the movie “A Tribe Called Judah” produced and directed by Funke Akindele herself was released to cinemas nationwide on December 15th, 2023.
At the heart of the narrative is Jedidah Judah, a single mother portrayed by Akindele herself, navigating life with her sons, each fathered by different men. The characters come to life through a skilled ensemble cast, featuring talents such as Jide Kene Achufusi, Timini Egbuson, and others.
Sharing the latest development, Funke Akindele shares the graphics and accompanied it with the famous song “God Did” by DJ Khaled.
