“God is so good” – Fast-rising singer Muyeez links up with Burna Boy amidst fallout with Dapper record label (Video)

A video of fast-rising singer Muyeez alongside Afrobeat star Burna Boy has surfaced online, following Muyeez’s recent departure from his record label, Dapper Music & Entertainment, owned by celebrity chef Hilda Baci’s fiancé, Damilola Akinwunmi.

Muyeez, born Moshood Abdulmuiz, is a 16-year-old Nigerian Afrobeats singer and songwriter who gained prominence in 2024 with his debut hit, Instagram, featuring Seyi Vibez.

Earlier this year, he signed with Dapper Music but terminated the contract, citing inhumane treatment in a press statement shared on his Instagram page.

Muyeez revealed that despite releasing two EPs, he has yet to receive any royalties. This revelation followed singer Shallipopi’s decision to end his contract with the same record label.

While Dapper Music has addressed allegations of financial exploitation and other issues, fans continue to criticize the label.

Amid the fallout, Muyeez was seen hanging out with Burna Boy at a nightclub in Lagos. In the video, he was spotted respectfully greeting Burna Boy, earning praise from fans for his humility.
