Nollywood actor Adeniyi Johnson has expressed his desire to become Nigeria’s next president.
In celebration of Independence Day 2024, the Yoruba actor shared photos of himself in a white outfit on his Instagram page, calling out to his Maker to make him the future president. He vowed to do a better job if given the opportunity.
“God, I’m not asking for too much, just the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I promise I’ll do well”.
Surprisingly, many via his comment section prayed that his wish come true.
One Olasunkanmi Mabinuori wrote, “So shall it be, Oremi
One Candy_j_coker wrote, “Amen. Congratulations your Excellency
One Official Oyinkansola wrote, “Your Excellency sir

One Igbalode Tiwa TV wrote, “May all your prayers be answered”.
Adeniyi isn’t the only actor who has expressed interest in being a president. In 2022, Yul Edochie expressed interest in running in the 2023 presidential election. Unfortunately, he withdrew from the election after deliberations with his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, because they lacked the structure to win the presidential election.
In the past two years, many Nollywood actors have delved into politics. The likes of Desmond Elliot, Hilda Dokubo, Caroline Danjuma, Funke Akindele, Tonto Dikeh, Banky W, Rita Daniels, and many others have delved into politics.
