Grammy 2025: Asake and Ayra Starr rejected as Rema and Tems make the Grammy nominations for Best Global Album

Afrobeats sensation Rema and R&B star Tems have both been nominated for Best Global Album at the 2025 Grammys, celebrating the success of their latest albums.

Rema’s second album, HEIS, and Tems’ debut album, Born In The Wild, are both in the running for this prestigious award.

The Grammy nominations were announced today, November 8, 2024, by the Recording Academy through its official social media platforms.

The 2025 GRAMMY Awards, will take place Sunday, Feb. 2. The ceremony will be held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Famous9js recall that Ayra Starr who submitted her album, “The year I turned 21” for Global Music Album gets rejected by the Grammy Award organizers. Also YBNL signee Asaka who submitted Lungu boy for the Global Music Album was also rejected as well.
