Nigerian filmmaker and actress Wumi Toriola has set a new record, surpassing her colleague Funke Akindele at the box office.
Toriola recently announced that her viral film, currently being screened across major cinemas in Nigeria, has grossed an impressive 100 million Naira and counting.
The film has also achieved the milestone of being the highest-grossing non-holiday movie and the top earner for its distributor, solidifying Wumi Toriola’s status as a rising force in the Nigerian film industry.
Sharing the exciting news on her official social media page, Wumi Toriola expressed her immense joy and gratitude to her amazing fans for helping her achieve this remarkable milestone.
The mother of one also urged Nigerians to continue streaming the movie, assuring them that they wouldn’t regret the experience.
