Hilda Baci congratulates Irish chef as he breaks her Guinness World Record for the longest-cooking individual

In a recent social media post, well-known Nigerian chef Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, expressed her sincere congratulations to the Irish chef for breaking her Guinness World Record for the longest cooking individual.

Guinness World Records now confirms to the world, on November 7, 2023, that Irish chef Alan Fisher, who cooked for 119 hours and 57 minutes in Japan, has surpassed Hilda Baci as the longest-cooking person.

That is over twenty-four hours longer than the previous record of ninety-three hours and eleven minutes set by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci.

Recall that Hilda Baci who hailed from Akwa-Ibom State was awarded as the longest-cooking individual in June 2023.

Despite her reign as the longest-cooking individual being short-lived, Hilda Baci immediately took out time to congratulate Irish chef Alan Fisher on his latest huge achievement.

Hilda Baci wrote; “Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.”

Se added; “I’m so happy to have held a record so prestigious and profound I will forever be honored and grateful for all the love and support ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”
