He made this known to all and sundry during a recent ministration session with his congregation.
He stated that any man who buys a car for his wife before providing one for his mother is “nothing short of a fool at 40.”
Evangelist Ebuka Obi explained that, before spending money on a car for his wife, his conscience reminds him of the sacrifices his mother made raising him long before he met his wife.
He highlighted how mothers are often willing to sacrifice more for their children than a wife might for her husband.
In his words; “It’s very wrong to buy a car for your wife before you buy one for your mother, your mother has been there for you since you were a baby and your mother can lay her life down for you but your wife can’t, your wife’s eyes is on your property.”
