“I Am Not In A Romantic Relationship With Kwam1, He Is Just My Helper Who Wipe My Tears When I Never Expected It” – Dayo Amusa Review In An Interview

Yoruba Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has set the record straight regarding her relationship with Fuji music icon King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate.

In a recent interview on the Oyinmomo Official YouTube channel, Amusa addressed persistent rumors suggesting a romantic involvement with the musician.

She firmly denied the claims, stressing that their bond is strictly platonic, founded on mutual respect and support.

Amusa described K1 as more of a father figure, friend, and adviser rather than a romantic partner. She noted that people often assume every relationship between a man and a woman has a romantic angle, which is not always true.

The actress expressed deep gratitude to K1 for being an unexpected pillar of support in her life. She recalled how he stood by her during a difficult time, offering comfort and wiping her tears when she needed it most.

According to Amusa, someone like K1 deserves to be cherished and respected, which is why she holds him in such high regard.

In her words; “Alhaji K1 is my friend, father figure, and adviser. People assume there is more to our relationship; however, there isn’t. Not every man you meet, you have an affair with. I’ve heard this rumor about me dating Alhaji K1 countless times to the point that whenever I’m asked again, I feel like just accepting it. But deep down, I know the kind of relationship I have with him. Whoever has wiped your tears in a circumstance where you never expected that kind of person to help, he should be adored for the rest of your life. That is the kind of relationship I have with him. And the reason for this rumor is that I was able to call Alhaji to feature in my movie. But what many people don’t know is that I wasn’t the one who invited him; someone else helped me. However, the public doesn’t know this because I don’t usually post everything about my private life on social media.”
