The grand opening was a star-studded affair, graced by Nollywood heavyweights such as Regina Daniels, Ruth Kadiri, Jennifer Awele (late Junior Pope’s wife), Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Aigbe, Eniola Badmus, Dorathy, and Warri Pikin.
Before the official ribbon-cutting in the open-air space outside, the Nollywood stars gathered inside for a lively reunion, sharing laughter, toasting to success, and indulging in fine dining.
As the celebration unfolded, so did the playful banter. Iyabo Ojo, busy preparing for her daughter Priscilla Ojo’s upcoming wedding to Tanzanian singer Juma Jux in Nigeria, seized the moment to tease Eniola Badmus.
Flashing a mischievous smile, she jokingly warned Eniola not to arrive late to Priscilla’s big day.
Mercy Aigbe was quick to jump in, playfully reminding everyone of Eniola’s notorious tardiness—even recalling a time when she showed up late to her own event.
The room erupted in laughter as Eniola, never one to shy away from a comeback, defended herself, insisting that her days of running late were over. She jokingly blamed her delay at Susan Chanel’s launch on being swamped with work.
Meanwhile, Regina Daniels, Ruth Kadiri, Dorathy Bachor, and other stars sat back, wide-eyed and entertained, as they watched their colleagues trade playful jabs.
In another post Gospel singer Agnes Iroh has accused rapper Olamide of sampling her song Follow the Ladder in his 2014 track Our Lord Jesus.
Agnes Iroh revealed that she couldn’t call out Olamide earlier due to her health challenges. She urged the rapper to meet with her and resolve the issue amicably.
Agnes insisted that Olamide should compensate her for sampling her song, as he gained numerous awards and benefits from it.
