Currently on vacation in Ghana with her best friend, Eniola Badmus, and skitmaker Kamo State, Funke reminisced about her struggles before fame.
During one of their joyful moments, she shared with Eniola Badmus how much of a deep thinker she is. She reflected on their early days when they seized every opportunity to capture the attention of producers, striving to make a name for themselves in the industry.
In a recent video shared on her Snapchat account, Nollywood producer Funke Akindele expressed heartfelt gratitude to Iyabo Ojo and Sikiratu Sindodo for their support during her early days in the industry.
She reminisced about a time when they were still struggling for recognition, seizing every opportunity to get the attention of producers.
Funke also recalled how Sikiratu Sindodo lent her clothes to help her look classy and presentable on set. However, she returned feeling devastated after facing challenges despite her efforts.
Funke Akindele also noted Iyabo Ojo’s impact, which included standing up for her until many in the industry noticed her.
She even mimicked one of Iyabo Ojo’s reactions when she was rejected by a producer on a movie set.
“I can never love you less,” she said, recalling the moments they stood by her.
