Recall that A new video of popular Nigerian singer Davido reacting strongly upon hearing the total amount of his bill after consumption has surfaced online, sparking discussions on social media.

In the viral clip, Lati, one of Davido’s close associates, was seen informing the singer that he had to pay a sum of $7,000—approximately 11 million naira—as the bill.

The event was nothing short of star-studded, with notable personalities in attendance, including Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and other prominent figures.

When Lati mentioned that the bill was $7,000 (N11M), Davido reacted in shock, saying, “For what? $7,000? Seven thousand dollars for what?” This reaction highlights that, just like average and less privileged Nigerians who complain about rising prices of goods and services, even the wealthy are feeling the impact of inflation.
