Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the public following the celebration of his birthday.
As reported by Famous9ja, the renowned actor recently turned 71 and marked the occasion by sharing photos of himself alongside a message of thanks.
His children, Shola, Bidemi Kosoko, and Temi Kosoko, celebrated him warmly on their social media platforms, while his colleagues also joined in by sharing touching tributes to honor the veteran.
In a recent post on his Instagram page, Jide Kosoko extended his appreciation, emphasizing that he does not take their love and support for granted. He also offered prayers for his well-wishers, wishing for them to be equally celebrated.
“My people, my people, I thank everyone deeply for the love you showed me yesterday, I do not take it for granted at all. As you have celebrated me this much, may you all always be celebrated. Thank you so much once again”.
Just a week back, Jide Kosoko had sweetly celebrated his daughter, Shola Kosoko as she turned 45. Praising her for her exceptional qualities, he stated that she is a true example of slow and steady wins in the race, as he called her his golden daughter.
Jide no doubt has many reasons to be grateful as last year, was a winning year for the veteran. In December, Kosoko, alongside Adebayo Salami, bagged Honorary Doctorate Degrees in Theatre and Media Arts from Achievers Networks Academy, UK. The veterans were lauded for their enduring legacy, having shaped the Nollywood industry into the powerhouse it is today through their unforgettable roles, mentoring of younger talents, and commitment to promoting African culture.
In other news, the veteran had left his fans talking after he shared a jaw-dropping selfie photo of his daughter. The light-skinned veteran questioned why his fans and followers were admiring her and if they had N500 billion to give him just for introduction and consultation.
