Nigerian actress Wumi Toriola has expressed openness to the idea of entering into a second marriage.
“I’m after-one now, so I’d gladly become a second wife,” declared the single mother of one.
Toriola shared this sentiment during a recent interview with Debbie Shokoya, a prominent media personality, revealing that she has been unmarried for “a while now.”
She said, “I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife but that has changed because I’m after-one now.
“If I see an after-one like me too or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness.”
She asserted that many men shy away from approaching female celebrities under the misconception that they are solely interested in affluent individuals, although Toriola clarified that this is not universally true.
Contrary to the prevailing notion that prosperous men are the sole contributors to their lavish lifestyles, Toriola continued, emphasizing that most actresses have earned their wealth through hard work.
Famous9ja recalled that Wunmi Toriola welcomed her first kid into the world the year after being married in 2018.
She revealed on her Instagram page in 2023 that her four-year marriage had failed.
