Popular Nollywood actress and politician Eniola Badmus once again grabbed attention at the star-studded premiere of Eniola Ajao’s highly anticipated film, Owanbe Thieves, following the emergence of a video showing her in a near clash with fellow actress Laide Bakare.
The glamorous premiere took place on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Filmhouse Circle Mall in Jakande, Lagos, drawing a vibrant crowd of celebrities, influencers, and entertainment industry insiders.
Both Eniola Badmus and Laide Bakare were seen dancing energetically among other guests as Fuji music icon K1 De Ultimate lit up the venue with a live performance.
In a video currently circulating online, Eniola Badmus is seen visibly displeased after spotting Laide Bakare on the dance floor. She swiftly steps away from the scene and retreats to the back, where she continues dancing on her own.
The footage also shows the tense moment when Eniola Badmus confronts Laide Bakare as she nears her on the dance floor. Speaking in Yoruba, Badmus can be heard saying, “Don’t film us together, we’re not friends.”

The discord between the two actresses dates back to a previous incident where Eniola Badmus accused Laide Bakare of making insensitive remarks about her personal life.
