Veteran Yoruba actress Iyaniwe has shared her heartbreaking life experience and struggles during a recent interview.
She began by revealing that she gave birth to four children, and while some people admire her glory and wish for a life like hers, she always advises them not to do so.
Iyaniwe disclosed that she only completed primary school, and sadly, all her children passed away at a young age, with none living beyond three years. Her youngest child was slightly older, but she still endured immense loss.
Despite her painful past, she remains grateful to God, especially for broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat, who built her a new house. She acknowledges that she has glory, but sadly, it has not flourished as she had hoped.
Reflecting on her childhood, she shared that she is the only daughter in her family, and her father, who is still alive, loves her dearly. However, when it was time for her to start school, she was initially rejected because her hand could not reach her ear—an old-fashioned method used to determine school readiness.
