Ololade ‘Asake’ Ahmed, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has addressed allegations of neglecting his father.
Recently, Asake’s father shared a video on social media, appealing for help and claiming that his son had abandoned him. He stated, “The last time I saw him was when I fell sick in March 2022. If I call him, he won’t pick up. Please help me; I need your assistance.”
In response, Asake took to his TikTok page to share his side of the story. He posted a freestyle video, using his lyrics to express his perspective on the situation. He said,
“I gave this man 100 million, bought him a house and he sold it. This man spends like a young boy, even carries OS. You can’t please the world, do whatever you do for God and always remember one day you’ll go and meet your God.
“My people, can you see? My father too wants to cajole me, I used to give him money and I did it freely. No one can quench my fire, God is the one taking me ahead in life”
