Like her colleague Tawa Ajisefinni, Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa is celebrating her first Christmas as a mother.
On her Instagram page, the Yoruba actress, who welcomed her first child a month ago, shared photos of them in matching outfits. She reflected on her past mistakes, noting that despite many wrongs, one thing she’s done right is having him.
Referring to her newborn son as her treasure, Dayo described him as her greatest gift, her joy, and a complete blessing. She prayed that she and his father would be living examples for him.
“My son’s first Christmas and my first Christmas as a mum. I have done so many wrong things but one thing I’ve done right is you my treasure @babyolufire
You are our best gift ever, our JOY and complete blessing; how could we not celebrate this wonderful moment with deep gratitude and happiness?
We pray to be a living example to you and to always let you know how wanted and desired you are. Our greatest and biggest treasure! SHAUN ABDUL RASHEED AKANNI @babyolufire
MERRY CHRISTMAS FANMILY”.
It is no longer news that last month, Dayo welcomed a baby boy, Oluwafirewamiri. Noting how her treasure had arrived, Dayo expressed gratitude to her Maker as she expressed how excited she was to be a mum.
On Monday, November 26th, the Yoruba actress held a naming ceremony for her newborn son, which had in attendance a few of her colleagues like veteran Fali Werepe, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Damola Olatunji, Iyabo Ojo, and Tope Osoba.
Following her son’s naming ceremony, Dayo had responded to those querying her over her son’s father. She questioned if their husbands were missing or if they were counting census.
